Our client is seeking a vigilant and analytical Cyber Security Analyst to join their dedicated security team based in Centurion . In this role, you will play a crucial part in protecting the organization's digital assets by monitoring security systems, detecting threats, and responding to incidents. You will analyze security data, identify vulnerabilities, and contribute to the enhancement of security protocols.

- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for potential threats and anomalies.
- Analyze security alerts, logs, and network traffic to identify and investigate security incidents.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Develop and implement security controls and best practices to protect company data and systems.
- Assist in the creation and delivery of security awareness training programs for employees.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of incident response plans and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in a cyber security analyst or similar role.
- Proficiency with security monitoring tools and SIEM technologies.
- Understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and common attack vectors.
- Experience with threat intelligence analysis and incident response.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication abilities.
