Role OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Business Systems Analyst to bridge the gap between business requirements and technology solutions. The ideal candidate will analyse business processes, gather requirements, and work closely with stakeholders, architects, developers, and project teams to deliver effective system solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Analyse business processes, systems, data flows, and business requirements.
- Conduct stakeholder workshops, interviews, and requirement-gathering sessions.
- Translate requirements into functional/non-functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows
. - Design and document business/system solutions and support implementation.
- Collaborate with technical teams, architects, developers, and testing teams.
- Participate in UAT, functional and integration testing and validate delivered solutions.
- Identify opportunities for process optimisation, automation, analytics, and AI
. - Support digital transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain strong relationships with business and technology stakeholders.
- Intermediate: 4–7 years of experience as a Business Analyst / Business Systems Analyst.
- Senior: 8+ years of relevant experience.
- Gemstone platform experience – Mandatory.
- Strong experience in requirements gathering, process modelling, and business analysis
. - Knowledge of APIs, system integrations, and SQL
. - Experience with Agile methodologies
. - Hands-on exposure to tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Azure Dev Ops, Visio, Lucidchart, Postman, SoapUI, or Power BI
. - Understanding of UML, BPMN, and business process modelling
. - Experience in financial services/investments is an advantage.
- Exposure to AI, automation, analytics, or digital transformation is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Analysis, Engineering, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
CBAP, PMI-PBA, Agile, Data Analytics, or AI-related certifications are advantageous.
