Senior Project Manager - IT Infrastructure

Our client seeks a seasoned Senior Project Manager with a strong background in IT Infrastructure to join their dynamic team in Centurion . This role is critical for overseeing the planning and execution of complex infrastructure projects, including network upgrades, data center migrations, and cloud deployments. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless project delivery, managing budgets, timelines, and resources, while fostering collaboration among technical teams and business stakeholders.

• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of IT infrastructure projects, from initiation to closure.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, resource requirements, budgets, and timelines.
• Coordinate with internal IT teams, vendors, and external partners to ensure successful project execution.
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing effective mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate clear and consistent communication with all project stakeholders, providing regular progress updates.
• Ensure that all infrastructure projects meet quality standards and comply with company policies and security protocols.

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years focused specifically on IT infrastructure projects .
• Proven experience managing projects involving network infrastructure, server environments, cloud technologies (AWS, Azure), and cybersecurity initiatives.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and proficiency with relevant tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate technical requirements into project plans and manage complex technical teams.
• A PMP or equivalent project management certification is highly preferred.
