Senior Digital Marketing & E-commerce Analyst

Our client, a leading player in the digital commerce space, is looking for a highly analytical and strategic Senior Digital Marketing & E-commerce Analyst to join their team. This role, which can be performed remotely from Centurion, Gauteng , will be instrumental in deriving actionable insights from complex data sets to optimize marketing campaigns, enhance user experience, and drive e-commerce revenue growth.

• Analyze large volumes of data from various sources, including website analytics, CRM, social media, and advertising platforms, to identify key trends and patterns.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track performance against KPIs for digital marketing and e-commerce initiatives.
• Provide in-depth analysis of campaign performance, customer behavior, conversion funnels, and A/B test results.
• Formulate data-driven recommendations to optimize marketing spend, improve website conversion rates, and enhance customer engagement.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new opportunities and threats in the digital landscape.
• Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and sales teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation in data collection and reporting.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends and best practices in digital analytics, e-commerce, and marketing technology.
• Develop predictive models to forecast marketing outcomes and customer lifetime value.
• Communicate complex analytical findings clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Master's degree in Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Marketing Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in digital marketing analytics, e-commerce analytics, or a related data analysis role.
• Advanced proficiency in web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc.
• Strong experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Expertise in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis and modeling techniques.
• Understanding of digital marketing channels (SEO, SEM, Social Media, Email Marketing) and their performance metrics.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data insights effectively.
• Experience with A/B testing methodologies and tools is essential.
