Our client, a reputable managed services provider serving various industries, is seeking an enthusiastic Apprentice IT Support Technician for their operations in Centurion, Gauteng . The apprentice will work under the guidance of experienced IT professionals, providing essential technical support to end-users, maintaining hardware and software, and contributing to the overall stability of the IT infrastructure.

This role requires on-site presence to directly assist users and manage equipment.

• Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in-person.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
• Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues.
• Escalate unresolved issues to senior IT staff or relevant vendors.
• Assist in setting up new user accounts, workstations, and mobile devices.
• Perform routine IT system checks and maintenance.
• Create and maintain IT documentation, including user guides and support procedures.
• Contribute to IT asset management and inventory control.
• Provide basic training to end-users on software and hardware usage.
• Ensure adherence to company IT policies and security protocols.

• A keen interest in IT support and technology troubleshooting.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows/macOS), and networking concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
