Procurement Manager

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in procurement, supply chain, commerce or industrial engineering; CIPS highly desirable
• 7+ years procurement/supply chain experience in a manufacturing or engineered-product environment, including 3+ years leading buyers or holding real purchasing authority
• Experience purchasing raw materials, fabricated/machined components, bearings, polymers or comparable industrial inputs
• Strong ERP experience, SYSPRO strongly preferred, including MRP, purchase orders and lead-time/MOQ maintenance
• Ability to read bills of material, drawings and technical specifications
• Practical supplier performance management: OTIF, scorecards, corrective action, supplier development
• Comfortable using AI/digital tools for RFQ comparison, exception management and reporting
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 procurement controls

Leading the local procurement team through daily exception management, converting MRP requirements into purchase orders, running RFQs and negotiations within delegated authority, and resolving supplier shortages before they hit production. You'll also drive local supplier development, cost reduction and system/process discipline, escalating strategic decisions to group level where required.
