Group Parts Logistics Supervisor; Automotive

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Inventory & Service Management:
  Monitor inventory performance, manage demand and backorders, optimize stock levels, and ensure service level targets are achieved.
• Cost Control:
  Analyze airfreight costs, manage excess and obsolete inventory, and coordinate supplier claims to improve cost efficiency.
• Reporting & Analysis:
  Produce inventory, demand, service level, and performance reports to support business decision-making.
• Quality & Compliance:
  Ensure compliance with ISO 9001/VDA standards, participate in audits, and drive continuous process improvement.
• People Leadership:
  Lead, coach, develop, and performance-manage a team of Analysts to achieve operational excellence and business objectives.

• Diploma in Purchasing, Inventory Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, or relevant business qualification (e.g. CPIM, Diploma in Logistics,
  
  B.Com Supply Chain) Additional training in SAP, forecasting systems, or international logistics advantageous
• 45 years experience in inventory management, purchasing, supply chain or related logistics functions within a manufacturing or automotive environment. Working knowledge of ISO 9001 / VDA standards and procurement governance & compliance procedures
