About the Role
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical FMCG Supply Chain Analyst to join their operations team in Centurion . This role is crucial for optimizing the flow of goods from production to the consumer, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness across the supply chain. You will be responsible for analyzing data, identifying bottlenecks, and recommending improvements to inventory management, logistics, and demand forecasting.
The ideal candidate possesses strong quantitative skills and a thorough understanding of supply chain dynamics within the fast-moving consumer goods industry, playing a key role in maintaining a smooth and responsive operational framework.
- Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for cost reduction in FMCG operations .
- Develop and maintain inventory management systems to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and sales teams to forecast demand and ensure timely product availability.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain efficiency, delivery times, and costs.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the overall effectiveness of the supply chain.
- Support the negotiation and management of relationships with logistics providers and suppliers.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Research, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Supply Chain Analyst , preferably in the FMCG sector .
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and potentially specialized supply chain software.
- Strong understanding of inventory management, demand planning, and logistics principles.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with various departments.
