About the Role

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and driven Junior Buyer to join their established procurement team based in Centurion . This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals passionate about supply chain management and seeking to build a career in purchasing. You will be responsible for supporting the buying process, managing supplier communications, and ensuring the efficient acquisition of goods and services required by the organization.

The role is office-based, fostering direct collaboration and mentorship within the team, contributing to a dynamic and fast-paced operational environment.

• Assist in the preparation of purchase orders and requisitions.
• Communicate with suppliers regarding orders, deliveries, and potential issues.
• Track order status and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Maintain accurate supplier information and pricing details in the procurement system.
• Support senior buyers in gathering quotes and comparing supplier proposals.
• Help resolve delivery discrepancies and invoice queries.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
• 0-2 years of experience in a purchasing, procurement, or administrative role.
• Basic understanding of procurement principles and practices.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Eagerness to learn and develop within the procurement field.
