Industrial Engineer - Supply Chain Optimization

About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated Industrial Engineer with a specialization in supply chain optimization to join their established team in Centurion . This role is critical for enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of their end-to-end supply chain operations. You will be responsible for analyzing logistics, inventory management, and distribution networks to implement cost-saving measures and improve service levels. This position requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of supply chain dynamics, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to drive significant improvements across the entire value chain.

This is an on-site role where your expertise will directly impact the company's logistical performance.

• Analyze existing supply chain processes, including warehousing, transportation, and inventory management, to identify inefficiencies and cost-saving opportunities.
• Develop and implement strategies for optimizing logistics networks, routes, and distribution center operations.
• Utilize supply chain modeling software and analytical tools to forecast demand, manage inventory levels, and improve material flow.
• Collaborate with procurement, manufacturing, and sales departments to ensure seamless integration of supply chain activities.
• Design and implement performance metrics and dashboards to monitor supply chain efficiency and identify areas for continuous improvement.
• Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers to ensure service level agreements are met and operational costs are controlled.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering , Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial engineering with a strong focus on supply chain and logistics.
• Proficiency in supply chain planning and optimization software (e.g., SAP APO, Oracle SCM, Manhattan Associates).
• Demonstrated experience in inventory management, warehouse layout design, and transportation management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Strong project management capabilities and the ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives in a results-oriented environment.
