Our client is seeking a seasoned and dedicated Aviation Maintenance Supervisor to oversee their maintenance operations in Centurion. This hybrid role requires a leader who can effectively manage a team of skilled aircraft technicians, ensuring all aircraft maintenance activities are performed to the highest safety and quality standards. You will be responsible for scheduling, resource allocation, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements while balancing on-site supervision with remote administrative tasks.
This position offers the chance to lead critical maintenance functions, contribute to fleet reliability, and work within a hybrid model that balances operational demands with flexibility.
- Supervise and direct the daily activities of aircraft maintenance technicians, providing technical guidance and support.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with regulatory requirements, manufacturer specifications, and company policies.
- Develop and manage maintenance schedules to optimize aircraft availability and minimize downtime.
- Oversee the procurement and management of aircraft parts and inventory.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing training and professional development for maintenance staff.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure documentation is up-to-date.
- Certified Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) or equivalent technical qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, maintenance procedures, and aviation regulations.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a commitment to safety and quality.
- Ability to work effectively in both an on-site and remote capacity as required by the hybrid model.
