About the Role Our client, a significant contributor to the telecommunications infrastructure in Centurion, Gauteng , is seeking an experienced and results-driven Telecom Project Manager . This role is integral to the successful planning, execution, and delivery of complex telecommunications projects, ranging from network deployments to technology upgrades. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of project management methodologies, and a deep knowledge of the telecommunications industry.

You will be responsible for managing project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure project objectives are met efficiently and effectively. • Lead and manage all phases of telecommunications projects, from initiation to closure.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
• Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement mitigation plans.
• Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure projects are delivered within financial constraints.
• Communicate project status, updates, and key decisions to stakeholders regularly.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Facilitate project meetings, including kick-off meetings, progress reviews, and post-project evaluations.
• Manage change requests and ensure proper documentation and approvals.
• Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, with a significant portion in the telecommunications sector.
• Proven experience managing large-scale telecom infrastructure projects (e.g., fiber deployment, network upgrades, cell site construction).
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, Agile).
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Jira).
• Strong financial acumen and budget management capabilities.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• PMP certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
