Chemical Process Operator

My client is looking for a reliable and safety-conscious Chemical Process Operator to join our production team in the Netherlands. You will be responsible for operating chemical processing equipment, monitoring production from the control room, and ensuring safe, efficient handling of chemicals and raw materials.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate and monitor chemical process equipment and production lines
- Monitor and control processes from the control room, responding to alarms and deviations
- Handle, sample, and test chemicals and raw materials according to procedures
- Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on process equipment
- Carry out work at heights safely, following relevant safety protocols
- Respond to emergencies, including fire incidents, as part of the site emergency response team
- Follow all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) procedures
- Maintain accurate production, sampling, and shift handover records
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors on the workfloor

REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to understand Dutch – Dutch is spoken on the workfloor
- Proven experience working with chemicals and/or raw materials in a production environment
- Experience working at heights
- Experience working in a control room environment
- Firefighting training/certification

- Experience with sampling procedures and basic maintenance/troubleshooting
- Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
- Willingness to work shifts
- Eligible to live and work in the Netherlands
