About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Manufacturing Operations Supervisor to oversee production activities at their facility in Centurion . This role involves leading a team of production staff, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, optimizing workflow, and achieving production targets. You will be instrumental in driving efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement within the manufacturing operations. This hybrid role offers a blend of on-site leadership and the flexibility to manage administrative tasks remotely, ensuring optimal operational oversight and team support.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the production team, assigning tasks and ensuring workflow efficiency.
- Ensure all operations are conducted in compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Monitor production output, quality standards, and equipment performance, taking corrective actions as needed.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate production staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance and quality assurance, to resolve operational issues and improve processes.
- Proven experience as a Manufacturing Supervisor or in a similar leadership role within a production environment.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, lean manufacturing principles , and quality control systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage and motivate a team effectively, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
