About the Role
Our client is looking for a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join their established facility in Centurion . This critical role involves overseeing and optimizing the manufacturing processes to ensure high-quality output and production efficiency. You will work hands-on with production lines, troubleshoot issues, and implement engineering solutions to meet production targets. The successful candidate will play a key part in continuous improvement efforts, focusing on enhancing productivity, reducing costs, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality within a competitive industrial sector.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and maintain manufacturing processes and production systems.
- Monitor production performance, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions to meet targets.
- Optimize equipment utilization and troubleshoot technical issues on the production floor.
- Lead projects related to new product introductions, process upgrades, and cost reduction initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards in the manufacturing environment.
- Collaborate with the R&D and quality assurance teams to resolve production-related challenges.
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
- Proven experience with process design, automation, and production line optimization.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and statistical process control (SPC).
- Experience with CNC machining, robotics, or other manufacturing technologies is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
