Brand Manager - Snacks; FMCG

Our client, a dynamic force in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) market, is seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Brand Manager to join their dedicated team. This hybrid role is based in their modern offices in Centurion, Gauteng. You will be responsible for the day‑to‑day management and strategic development of key snack brands, driving brand awareness, consumer engagement, and ultimately, market share.

• Develop and execute annual brand plans and marketing strategies for assigned snack brands.
• Conduct market research and analyze consumer data to identify insights and opportunities for brand growth.
• Oversee the development and implementation of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social media, and traditional channels.
• Manage brand budgets effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and tracking ROI.
• Collaborate with product development teams on new product launches and line extensions.
• Work closely with the sales team to ensure effective execution of brand strategies at the point of sale.
• Manage relationships with external agencies, including advertising, PR, and digital marketing partners.
• Monitor brand performance, competitor activities, and market trends, providing regular reports and recommendations.
• Ensure consistent brand messaging and identity across all touchpoints.
• Support the senior brand team in strategic brand development and planning.

• A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• 3-5 years of experience in brand management or marketing, preferably within the FMCG sector, with a focus on snacks or similar product categories.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns.
• Strong understanding of consumer insights, market analysis, and digital marketing trends.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Creative thinking and a passion for consumer brands.
• Must be able to work effectively in a hybrid environment, requiring presence in the Centurion, Gauteng office.
