Youth Development Coordinator

About the Role

Our client is looking for a dynamic and passionate Youth Development Coordinator to lead and implement programs aimed at empowering young people in Centurion . This role focuses on creating opportunities for personal growth, skill development, and positive social engagement for adolescents and young adults. You will be responsible for designing, managing, and evaluating youth-focused initiatives that address key challenges such as unemployment, education, and social integration.

Working collaboratively with schools, community centers, and other organizations is essential to maximize the impact of these programs and foster a supportive environment for youth development within the Gauteng region.

• Develop, coordinate, and implement engaging youth development programs and activities.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions focusing on life skills, career readiness, and leadership development.
• Build and maintain relationships with local schools, NGOs, and youth organizations.
• Monitor program progress, collect data, and prepare reports on outcomes and impact.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to young participants, connecting them with relevant opportunities.
• Manage program budgets and resources effectively.

• Degree in Social Sciences, Education, Community Development, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in youth development, program coordination, or education.
• Proven ability to design and deliver engaging programs for young people.
• Strong understanding of youth challenges and development principles.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience working within the Centurion community is advantageous.
