Registered Nurse – Neuro Scrub (Full Time)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse with a strong background in Neuro Scrub nursing to join a leading private hospital in Centurion. This is a full-time opportunity for a professional who thrives in a high-acuity surgical environment and is passionate about delivering safe, specialised care.

As a Neuro Scrub Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in supporting complex neurological and ENT procedures, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

• Registered with the South African Nursing Council as a Professional Nurse
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in theatre nursing, with a focus on neurological procedures
• Proven competence in cranial, inter-cranial, and spinal surgeries
• Proficient in handling specialised neuro equipment, including microscopes, spinal beds, and CUSA
• Experience in ENT surgery is essential
• Sound knowledge of general and specialised nursing theory and modern clinical practices
• Ability to function effectively in a multidisciplinary team and act as a clinical resource
• Strong documentation, planning, and emergency response skills

• Deliver advanced, individualised nursing care in line with clinical protocols and best practice
• Support and mentor junior staff and students in collaboration with clinical facilitators
• Participate in policy development, quality assurance, and risk management initiatives
• Maintain effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Contribute to continuous improvement in patient care and operational efficiency
