SHEQ Manager

What you’ll be doing

• Support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Integrated Management System (IMS), including QMS, FSMS, and OH&S systems
• Assist in ensuring compliance with applicable legislation, GMP+ FSA, FSSC 22000, ISO standards, and veterinary pharmaceutical requirements
• Participate in internal audits
  , supplier audits, and compliance assessments to ensure audit readiness
• Support external audits, regulatory inspections, and certification processes
• Assist with supplier approval processes, supplier performance monitoring, and compliance checks
• Contribute to risk assessments,
  hazard identification
  , and food/feed safety evaluations
• Support the investigation of incidents, deviations, and non-conformances, including CAPA implementation
• Assist in maintaining document control systems, regulatory records
  , and compliance reporting
• Promote workplace safety initiatives, environmental compliance, and sustainability practices
• Support SHEQ training programmes and drive awareness across the organisation
• Monitor and report on SHEQ performance indicators and continuous improvement initiatives

• Degree or diploma in Safety, Quality Management, or a related field
• 3–5 years’ experience in a SHEQ, quality, or compliance-related role
• Working knowledge of FSSC
  22000/ISO
  22000, ISO
  9001 standards, and regulatory requirements within veterinary pharmaceutical under Act 36
  . or related industries will be beneficial
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Auditing, risk assessment, and compliance experience will be advantageous
• High level of integrity and commitment to quality and safety standards
