About the Role
Our client is seeking a meticulous and experienced Quality Control Inspector for their automotive parts manufacturing facility in Centurion . In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure they meet stringent quality standards and specifications. Your keen eye for detail and understanding of quality control methodologies are crucial for maintaining product integrity and customer satisfaction.
This position requires hands‑on inspection and a commitment to upholding the highest quality benchmarks within the automotive supply chain.
- Conduct thorough inspections of incoming raw materials, components, and finished automotive parts using various measurement tools and techniques.
- Verify that products meet defined specifications, blueprints, and quality standards before release to the next stage of production or shipment.
- Document inspection results accurately, identifying and reporting any non‑conforming products or process deviations.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Perform regular calibration and maintenance checks on inspection equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new inspection procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications in quality control are a plus.
- Proven experience as a Quality Control Inspector , preferably in the automotive industry.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and inspection techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
