At Montego, our Quality Controllers help keep our high standards at the heart of everything we do. From raw materials and production checks to finished product testing and documentation, you’ll play a key role in ensuring every stage of the process meets our quality, food safety and consistency standards.
What You Will Be Doing- Inspecting raw materials, packaging and storage conditions against approved specifications.
- Checking stock rotation, batch numbers, expiry dates and supporting documentation.
- Monitoring quality throughout batching, mixing, extrusion, baking, moulding and cooling processes.
- Conducting sensory, moisture and water activity checks.
- Drawing product samples for laboratory testing.
- Completing scale verifications and production-line quality checks.
- Identifying and escalating non-conforming materials or products in line with procedures.
- Completing and verifying QA documentation and production records.
- Monitoring hygiene, housekeeping, food safety and OHS standards.
- Guiding and supporting direct reports and monitoring required cleaning schedules.
