Quality Control Analyst - FMCG

About the Role

Our client is looking for a meticulous and analytical Quality Control Analyst to join their dynamic team in Centurion . This role is vital for ensuring that all products manufactured meet stringent quality standards and regulatory requirements within the FMCG sector . You will conduct various tests, analyze results, and work closely with the production team to identify and address any deviations from quality specifications.

• Perform comprehensive quality control tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods according to established protocols.
• Analyze test results, identify trends, and document any non-conformities or deviations from quality standards.
• Collaborate with production, R&D, and QA departments to implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain accurate records of all testing procedures, results, and quality documentation.
• Ensure that laboratory equipment is calibrated and maintained in good working order.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory requirements for FMCG quality.

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific field.
• Proven experience as a Quality Control Analyst or in a similar quality assurance role, preferably in FMCG.
• Proficiency in laboratory testing techniques and instrumentation.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, HACCP).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team in Centurion.
