About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and meticulous Aviation Quality Assurance Inspector to uphold safety and compliance standards at their operations in Centurion . This pivotal role ensures that all aircraft maintenance activities and documentation meet rigorous regulatory requirements and company standards. You will be instrumental in maintaining the integrity and safety of our fleet, conducting detailed audits and inspections. This is an ideal position for a detail-oriented professional with a deep understanding of aviation regulations and a commitment to excellence in quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct routine and non-routine inspections of aircraft, components, and maintenance processes to ensure compliance with aviation regulations and company standards.
- Review and audit maintenance records, work orders, and technical documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Identify non-conformities and safety hazards, initiating corrective actions and follow-up to ensure resolution.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and assist in the training of maintenance personnel on quality standards.
- Participate in internal and external audits and liaise with aviation authorities.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all applicable aviation regulations and industry best practices.
- Extensive experience in aviation maintenance or quality assurance, with a strong understanding of relevant regulations (e.g., SA-CARS).
- Demonstrated experience as an Aviation Quality Inspector or similar role.
- Technical knowledge of aircraft systems and maintenance procedures.
- Excellent analytical, auditing, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively report findings.
- Proficiency in using quality management software and standard office applications.
