Our client is actively recruiting for a dedicated Research Fellow to join their esteemed immunology research group based in Centurion . This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to pioneering research focused on understanding immune system mechanisms and developing novel immunotherapies. You will work within a state-of-the-art facility, conducting high-impact experiments and contributing to the advancement of our client's therapeutic pipeline.
The role is ideal for an individual with a strong scientific background, meticulous experimental skills, and a passion for immunology.
- Conduct in-depth experimental studies on cellular and molecular aspects of the immune system.
- Design and perform immunological assays, including flow cytometry, ELISAs, and cell-based functional assays.
- Analyze and interpret complex experimental data, preparing comprehensive reports and presentations.
- Contribute to the development and validation of new research methodologies and technologies.
- Collaborate with senior scientists and external partners to advance research projects.
- Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory records and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Ph.D. in Immunology, Molecular Biology, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated research experience in immunology, with a focus on T-cell biology, cytokine signaling, or autoimmunity.
- Hands-on experience with flow cytometry , immunohistochemistry, and cell culture techniques.
- Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation using relevant scientific software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
