What This Role Is About

This position focuses on maintaining merchandising and display standards, ensuring effective stock rotation, and delivering an outstanding in-store experience that supports sales growth and customer satisfaction.

• Visit allocated stores according to the approved route list
• Implement merchandising principles and standards in line with the Merchandising Handbook
• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness standards across all displays
• Build and maintain promotional displays within allocated space, ensuring promotional stock and samples are available where required
• Maintain Point-of-Sale (POS) materials
• Replenish stock from storerooms where applicable
• Attend fairs and pet shows when requested by Sales Consultants or the Regional Sales Manager
• Remove damaged stock from shelves and report this to relevant stakeholders
• Capture and record merchandising activities on Repsly

• Keep clients informed about in-store activities and promotions
• Share product knowledge with store staff and customers
• Assist with customer queries and

• Complete customer visit checklists and update information on Repsly
• Conduct customer and field surveys as required

• Monitor and review stock levels
• Ensure effective stock rotation practices
• Assist with identifying and placing top‑up orders

• Install and remove shelving
• Replace damaged shelving
• Arrange returns of shelving to the depot
• Ensure shelving terms and conditions are understood and signed
• Follow safe working procedures when installing shelving

• Grade 12 (NQF Level
  4)
• Valid Code B driver’s licence
• 1–2 years’ experience as a General Worker in an FMCG environment
• Merchandising experience will be advantageous
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Ability to build attractive and effective promotional displays
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to lift and move heavy items
• Willingness to extensively travel
• Availability to work weekends and extended hours when operationally required
• Willingness to perform additional duties aligned with operational needs and individual capability
