Assistant Retail Manager

About the Role

Our client is looking for a motivated and organized Assistant Retail Manager to support the Store Manager in leading operations at their Centurion location. You will be instrumental in driving sales, maintaining high standards of customer service, and ensuring the efficient day-to-day running of the store. This role requires a proactive individual who can assist with team leadership, inventory control, and operational efficiency within the competitive Gauteng retail landscape.

• Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, ensuring smooth execution of all retail processes.
• Support the sales team by providing training, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Monitor inventory levels, process stock, and assist with merchandising to maximize sales potential.
• Ensure a high standard of customer service is consistently delivered on the sales floor in Centurion .
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and satisfactory manner, escalating when necessary.
• Contribute to implementing promotional activities and marketing initiatives to boost store performance.

• Previous experience in a retail supervisory or management role, such as Assistant Retail Manager or Team Lead.
• Strong understanding of retail operations, sales techniques, and customer service principles.

• Proficiency with retail POS systems and inventory management software.
