Our client is a highly reputable and reliable beauty product supplier and salon in South Africa. They are looking for an energetic, highly organised and sales-driven Client Booking & Sales Coordinator to join their team as soon as possible.

JOB DESCRIPTION /

PURPOSE:

This is not a traditional receptionist position. Their ideal candidate is someone who loves working with people, is confident on the phone, enjoys sales, follows up relentlessly, works well with targets and takes pride in keeping a busy salon diary organised and full.

MAIN

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responding to new enquiries and leads from Facebook, Instagram, Whats App and other channels
• Calling prospective clients and converting enquiries into bookings
• Following up leads consistently
• Rebooking existing clients and assisting with client retention
• Reactivating previous and inactive clients
• Filling cancellations and gaps in the diary
• Confirming appointments and actively reducing cancellations and no-shows
• Managing the salon diary efficiently
• Processing payments and assisting with general front-desk administration
• Providing excellent client service from first enquiry through to follow-up
• Recommending and selling skincare products
• Working closely with our therapists, Client Liaison and management team to achieve monthly targets

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12
• Relevant tertiary qualification will be an added advantage

EXPERIENCE AND

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Previous experience in the beauty, skincare, aesthetic or salon industry will be a strong advantage, but is not essential.
• More interested in finding someone with exceptional sales ability, people skills, organisation and initiative. Product and treatment knowledge can be taught.
• Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English
• Occasional work on Saturdays may be required according to the salon's operational requirements
• Naturally confident and comfortable with sales
• Excellent on the telephone and Whats App
• Friendly, professional and excellent with people
• Highly organised and detail-orientated
• Proactive – you don't wait to be told what to do
• Comfortable working towards measurable targets
• Persistent with follow-ups without being pushy
• Computer and technology confident
• Able to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, accountable and solution-driven
• Excellent earning potential for someone who can consistently convert leads, build the forward appointment book, achieve sales targets and help grow the salon
