Full Stack Developer

Our client is seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to join their dynamic, office-based team in Centurion. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in both front-end and back-end development, with hands-on experience in Flutter and FastAPI.

This role is well suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple priorities, and enjoys working on scalable, production-ready systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web and mobile applications using Flutter
• Design, build, and maintain scalable back-end services using FastAPI
• Integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic and functionality
• Ensure application performance, quality, security, and responsiveness
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features
• Maintain clean, well-structured, and well-documented code
• Work closely with graphic designers to translate designs into visual elements
• Implement best practices for security and data protection

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 2–4 years’ experience in full stack development
• Strong proficiency in Flutter for front-end development
• Solid experience with FastAPI and back-end technologies
• Proficiency in Python, Excel, and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA)
• Proven ability to develop and manage both front-end and back-end systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
• Excellent organizational and project management skills
• Must reside in Pretoria or nearby areas (office based in Centurion)
