Developer Back Office

Overview

Tracker requires the services of an Intermediate Developer, reporting to the Back-end Office Team Lead. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver software solutions to achieve customer satisfaction. You will be part of a team tasked to look after the back-end of the Telematics Platform. This is a highly technical role. You will be adding new, as well as improving existing functionality within the system, using the Scrum Agile methodology.

Day to day tasks involve joining standup sessions, reviewing code, testing your own code and sometimes your team members  deploy new features and improved features to production. You will also engage with other teams along the way.

• Degree / Diploma with 4 years of relevant work experience
• Experience in SCRUM AGILE methodology
• Experience in C required
• Exposure to C# is required
• Experience with Azure Dev Ops, TFS and GIT
• Relational database design
• Extensive and complex SQL queries
• Experience with message queueing technologies such as Rabbit
  
  MQ, Apache
  
  MQ, Kafka would be advantageous
• Multi-threaded and parallel development experience advantageous
• Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) experience beneficial
• Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) designation is advantage
• Exposure to good coding standard practices and source code configuration management
• Experience in SOLID, KISS, TDD, DDD and Clean Coding practices
• High attention to detail with a strong focus on quality
• Good planning, organising and leading skills
• Good inter-personal skills
• Able to work effectively within a team
