Our client in Centurion is Hiring! Software Developer

They are seeking a skilled and experienced PHP / Laravel Developer with strong expertise in Vue.js, Laravel, PHP, SQL, Python, HTML, and AI development tools. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of the full software development stack, including frontend, middleware, backend systems, and API integrations

This role requires a detail-oriented developer who is passionate about building scalable, high-quality software solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, debugging, and maintaining applications while ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and user experience.

Requirements:

• Strong experience with Vue.js, Laravel, PHP, SQL, and HTML.
• Proficiency in Python and experience applying programming concepts across different technologies.
• Strong understanding of frontend, middleware, and backend architecture.
• Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, testable, and efficient code.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles, including unit and integration testing.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks.
• Experience working with development tools such as Docker and Postman.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Agile software development methodologies.
• Knowledge of web security best practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Vue.js for frontend development and Laravel for backend development.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using PHP, HTML, SQL, and related technologies.
• Develop, maintain, and integrate APIs and third-party services.
• Work across the full software development stack, including frontend, middleware, backend, and database systems.
• Collaborate with designers, QA testers, project managers, and other development team members.
• Perform comprehensive software testing, including unit, integration, and functional testing.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software bugs, performance issues, and technical challenges.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving coding standards, processes, and best practices.
• Utilise AI development tools to enhance productivity, development processes, and software solutions.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and modern development practices
