We're looking for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join a defence and security technology company, working on mission-critical embedded systems.

This role requires:

Minimum 5 years' hands-on C/C++ software development
Proven experience in embedded software (not web/app development)
Experience working within a safety-critical software environment
BEng (Computer Engineering) or equivalent BSc

You'll be doing:

Translating system requirements into software specifications
Writing test cases and technical documentation (V-Model process)
Developing embedded and application-level C/C++ code
Software verification, validation, and defect resolution
Providing technical leadership for a small Agile/Scrum team

Advantageous: experience in a military or aerospace software environment.
