A prominent, SANAS-accredited Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) verification agency is seeking a Mid-Senior Out Systems Developer who will drive low-code innovation and build high-impact enterprise applications as part of our expanding engineering team.
Responsibilities:
End-to-End Delivery: Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of enterprise applications across Out Systems and ODC platforms.
Architecture & Integration: Participate in technical reviews and architect integrations with internal systems and third-party platforms via REST APIs.
Performance & Governance: Maintain high standards of code quality, performance optimization, application security, and Out Systems governance.
Agile
Collaboration:
Partner closely with business analysts, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to refine and execute technical requirements.
Team Leadership: Mentor junior developers, share domain knowledge, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
Out Systems Expertise: 3 to 5 years of hands-on Out Systems development experience, including proven background with Out Systems Developer Cloud (ODC) and Reactive Web Applications.
Certifications: Out Systems Associate Reactive Developer certification (minimum).
Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience consuming and exposing REST APIs, along with strong SQL and relational database skills.
Delivery & SDLC: Solid understanding of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile delivery methodologies.
Problem Solving & Communication: Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills, paired with strong stakeholder engagement and communication abilities.
Preferred QualificationsAdvanced
Certifications:
Additional Out Systems credentials, such as Out Systems 11 or ODC-related certifications.
Cloud & Integration: Experience working with Azure, cloud-native environments, or complex enterprise system integrations.
Dev Ops Knowledge: Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and modern Dev Ops practices.
