Key accountabilities:
1. Inbound Controller
Stock Movement Oversight (Stockyard to Dealer)
• Manage daily dispatch of vehicles or stock from the stockyard to dealers in line with delivery schedules and sales orders.
• Ensure vehicles are only released post quality clearance, documentation verification, and safe loading.
• Align dispatch planning with dealer commitments and internal sales forecasts.
Transport Tracking & Turnaround Time (TAT) Monitoring
• Track all outbound vehicle shipments in real-time.
• Monitor Turnaround Time (TAT) against targets and identify performance gaps.
• Coordinate with logistics partners and transporters to ensure on-time, efficient delivery.
• Investigate delivery delays or route deviations and implement corrective actions.
Vehicle Preservation & Secondary Movements
• Ensure vehicles in stockyard storage are well-preserved (e.g., tire pressure, battery, cleanliness).
• Oversee secondary movements such as transfers to fitment centers or holding areas.
• Coordinate cleaning, cosmetic touch-ups, or minor repairs as needed before delivery.
Dealer Coordination & Escalation Handling
• Serve as the primary point of contact for dealer delivery queries and updates.
• Handle escalations related to:
o Delayed deliveries
o Vehicle condition discrepancies
o Missing items
o Provide timely updates to the sales team and dealer network on delivery status or changes.
Transit Performance & Reporting
• Maintain detailed reports on:
o Transit times
o TAT performance
o Damage claims
o Delivery success rates
o Generate and share dashboards and performance insights with operations and management teams.
Special Conversion Tracking
• Track vehicles undergoing special fitments or modifications prior to dispatch.
• Coordinate timely movement to and from conversion centers.
• Ensure conversion quality checks and documentation are completed before release to dealers.
Non-Runner Vehicle Management
• Identify non-runner vehicles (unable to self-drive).
• Arrange alternative transport methods or towing solutions.
• Coordinate technical repairs and ensure these units do not disrupt the delivery pipeline.
