About the Role

Our client requires a seasoned Fleet Driver to manage and operate a variety of commercial vehicles in Centurion . This role is essential for maintaining the smooth operation of our client's diverse fleet, ensuring that goods and personnel are transported reliably and efficiently. You will be responsible for a range of tasks from daily driving duties to basic vehicle checks and adherence to strict logistical schedules across the Gauteng province.

The successful candidate will possess excellent driving skills, a thorough understanding of commercial vehicle operations, and a commitment to safety and punctuality.

• Operate various commercial vehicles, including trucks and vans, for the transportation of goods and materials.
• Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on fleet vehicles to ensure they are in safe operating condition.
• Adhere strictly to company schedules and delivery deadlines.
• Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or maintenance performed.
• Ensure cargo is loaded, secured, and transported safely according to regulations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding fleet status and operational needs.

• Valid Code 10 driver's license with PDP and a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience driving commercial vehicles.
• Proven ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Good knowledge of the Gauteng region and surrounding areas.
• Strong understanding of commercial transportation regulations and safety protocols.
• Reliable, punctual, and capable of working flexible hours when required.
