Our client seeks a skilled and dependable Logistics Fleet Driver to operate within their extensive transportation network in Centurion, Gauteng . This position involves the long-haul and local transportation of various goods, requiring punctuality, safety consciousness, and a professional demeanor. You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of the cargo and the timely arrival at destination points. This role is essential for the continuity of supply chains and requires an individual committed to maintaining high operational standards and representing the company professionally on the road, contributing significantly to the efficiency and reputation of the logistics operations in Centurion .

• Operate articulated vehicles or commercial trucks for long-distance and local deliveries.
• Ensure the secure loading and unloading of cargo, verifying documentation accuracy.
• Adhere strictly to driving hours regulations and safety protocols to prevent accidents.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on vehicles and report any mechanical issues promptly.
• Navigate using GPS and road maps, adapting to route changes as necessary.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status.

• Valid Code 14 driver's license with an up-to-date PDP.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience driving heavy commercial vehicles.
• Excellent knowledge of road networks across South Africa , particularly Gauteng .
• Proven track record of safe driving and adherence to regulations.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively on the road.
