Dedicated Route Driver

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dependable Dedicated Route Driver to manage specific, pre-defined delivery routes within the Centurion, Gauteng region. This role focuses on consistency and efficiency, ensuring that designated clients receive their goods on schedule, every time. You will be the primary point of contact for these routes, building relationships with clients and ensuring the safe transport of products. • Operate a commercial vehicle to perform scheduled deliveries and pick-ups along assigned routes in Centurion and surrounding areas.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products, adhering strictly to the daily route schedule.
• Maintain the cleanliness and operational readiness of the assigned vehicle through regular checks.
• Accurately complete all necessary delivery documentation, including proof of delivery and any required logs.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding any route changes or delivery issues.
• Provide professional and courteous service to all customers encountered during routes.

• Valid South African driver's license (Code 10 or higher) with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a professional driver, preferably with route-based delivery.
• Familiarity with the Gauteng road network and ability to navigate efficiently.
• Physical ability to handle the loading and unloading of goods, often independently.
• Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to meeting delivery deadlines.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
