Delivery Driver - Light Commercial Vehicles

Our client is seeking a reliable and efficient Delivery Driver to operate light commercial vehicles for their operations based in Centurion . You will be responsible for collecting and delivering packages, ensuring timely and safe transit for our diverse clientele. This role requires a professional demeanor, excellent knowledge of the local road network, and a commitment to customer satisfaction. As part of the Driving & Transport team, you will contribute to the smooth functioning of our distribution services, ensuring that goods reach their destinations promptly and in excellent condition.

This position offers a blend of driving and logistical support tasks within a dynamic urban environment.

• Operate light commercial vehicles (e.g., vans, small trucks) for the collection and delivery of goods in and around the Centurion area.
• Plan daily routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries and pickups, optimizing fuel consumption and time management.
• Load and unload packages carefully, ensuring that items are properly secured and handled to prevent damage.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, including proof of delivery signatures and any required documentation.
• Conduct routine checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working order and report any maintenance needs promptly.
• Provide courteous and professional service to customers during all delivery interactions.

• Valid Code 10 driver's license with PDP (Professional Driving Permit).
• Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or similar role.
• Good knowledge of the Centurion and surrounding Gauteng road network.
• Physical ability to lift and carry packages of varying weights.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong customer service orientation and a commitment to reliability.
