Fleet Driver

Our client is looking for a dedicated Fleet Driver to join their operations in Centurion, Gauteng . This role involves managing and operating a fleet of company vehicles for various business purposes, including inter-branch transfers and client site visits. You will ensure that all vehicles are maintained in excellent condition and that all driving is conducted safely and efficiently. This position requires a professional attitude, strong navigational skills, and the ability to adapt to varying daily schedules and responsibilities within the Gauteng region.

Your role is vital in supporting the company's day-to-day logistical needs.

• Operate various company vehicles, including cars and light trucks, for assigned tasks.
• Coordinate vehicle maintenance schedules with the operations manager, ensuring all vehicles are serviced regularly.
• Transport personnel, equipment, and materials to various locations as directed.
• Maintain a logbook of all vehicle usage, mileage, and fuel consumption.
• Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
• Assist with general site support duties as needed when not driving.

• Valid South African driver's license (e.g., Code 08 ).
• Minimum of 2 years of professional driving experience, preferably with fleet vehicles.
• Familiarity with the road networks in Centurion and the wider Gauteng province.
• Good mechanical aptitude for basic vehicle checks and reporting issues.
• Ability to manage time effectively and work within scheduled time frames.
