Hiconnex (PTY) Ltd is a QPL company for the Military, Aerospace and Maritime industry for which we import, export and supply locally.

We are seeking a reliable and detail-orientated Picker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately picking, packing, preparing stock for dispatch while ensuring high levels of accuracy and efficiency.

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Qualifications may be waived due to relevant experience
• 1 - 2 years’ experience in housekeeping
• 0 – 2 years’ experience in picking
• Forklift license advantageous
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet targets and deadlines
• Previous warehouse or picking experience will be advantageous
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Physically fit and able to lift and move stock when required
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team

• Stock stored in correct location
• Pick stock according to picking slips and customer orders
• Ensure that the stock on hand and bin card tallies
• Report any incorrect stock to store controller
• Any other reasonable request or work task as allocated by manager/supervisor
• Verify product quantities and descriptions against documentation
• Pack and prepare orders for dispatch
• Ensure stock is handled safely and stored correctly
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Assist with stock counts and inventory control activities
• Report damaged or missing stock to the supervisor
• Adhere to company procedures and health and safety requirements
