Warehouse Picker and Packer

Our client, a prominent logistics and warehousing company, is seeking diligent and efficient Warehouse Pickers and Packers to join their busy operational team in Centurion, Gauteng . This essential role involves accurately picking items for customer orders and securely packing them for shipment, ensuring timely and correct dispatch. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, possess excellent attention to detail, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

You will be an integral part of the supply chain, contributing directly to customer satisfaction by ensuring orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently. • Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on customer orders using scanning equipment or pick lists.
• Inspect picked items for damage or defects before packing.
• Pack items securely and appropriately for shipping, selecting suitable packaging materials.
• Label packages correctly with shipping information.
• Ensure all picked and packed orders are ready for dispatch in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
• Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures.
• Report any discrepancies or issues with orders or inventory to the supervisor.

• Previous experience as a warehouse picker/packer or in a similar manual handling role is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided.
• Ability to read and understand pick lists and order forms.
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
• Good physical stamina and the ability to stand for long periods and lift items up to 15kg.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Must be able to work on‑site in Centurion, Gauteng .
• Availability to work flexible shifts, potentially including weekends.
