Warehouse Supervisor - Night Shift

Our client, a prominent player in the retail supply chain, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to manage their night shift operations in Centurion, Gauteng . This critical role requires a strong leader capable of overseeing all warehouse activities during overnight hours, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to motivate and manage a team, optimize workflow, and maintain high operational standards in a fast-paced environment.

• Supervise and coordinate all warehouse activities during the night shift.
• Ensure efficient receiving, warehousing, and dispatch operations.
• Manage and motivate a team of warehouse operatives, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Maintain high standards of inventory accuracy through diligent checks and controls.
• Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and company policies.
• Monitor and manage equipment usage and maintenance to ensure operational readiness.
• Optimize workflow and space utilization within the warehouse.
• Communicate effectively with day shift supervisors and management regarding operational status and any issues.
• Address and resolve operational issues and employee concerns in a timely and effective manner.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse operations.

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Proven experience in managing teams, preferably in a night shift or demanding operational setting.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, including inventory management, shipping, and receiving.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards within a warehouse context.
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is an advantage.
• Must be willing and able to work the night shift consistently.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
• Experience with in the Logistics & Warehousing sector.
