The Accounting Supervisor oversees day-to-day accounting operations for assigned company(s), including month-end close, financial statement preparation, and general ledger reconciliations. This role supervises accounting staff, ensures accurate and timely reporting, supports audits, and provides guidance on accounting processes. The Accounting Supervisor serves as a resource for junior accountants while ensuring compliance with internal controls, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.
• Prepare month‑end journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Assist with month‑end financial statement preparation (Income Statement, Balance Sheet).
• Perform annual accounting accruals and reconciliations for tax return preparation.
• Produce reports for management on assigned company activities.
• Lead special projects and analyses as required.
• Serve as a resource for less‑experienced accountants.
• Work with auditors, customers, and vendors as a representative of Bronco Wine.
• Review purchase order coding and maintain vendor accounts.
• Assist with year‑end reports related to suppliers for Directors and Ownership review.
• Maintain and verify assets in Fixed Asset Software.
• Hold bi‑weekly department meetings and attend weekly managers’ meetings.
• Assist Controller and Assistant Controller with staff performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with ISO
  9001, HACCP, and GMP standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5–6 years of accounting experience; prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Tier I or II ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of auditing principles, internal controls, and standard costing practices in manufacturing/winery operations.
• Ability to analyze data, solve problems, and make decisions independently.
• Leadership skills to guide, evaluate, and develop accounting staff.

• Ability to sit for extended periods and perform tasks using standard computer equipment.

• Indoor setting with limited noise levels.

• Side shield safety glasses, safety vest, head/ear protection, and proper footwear required in production areas.
