Fitter, Maintenance Technician ​/ Mechanic

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and servicing of all machinery and mechanical equipment.
• Install, assemble, and test mechanical systems to ensure optimal functionality.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot faults promptly to minimise downtime.
• Conduct preventative maintenance in accordance with set schedules.
• Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and food safety regulations.
• Collaborate closely with the production team to address mechanical breakdowns effectively.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities.
• Recognised Trade Qualification as a Fitter (essential).
• Minimum of three years’ experience in a large-scale fruit production, packhouse, or FMCG environment.
• Strong technical aptitude with solid problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
• Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyor systems will be an advantage.
• Must be willing to work shifts, weekends, and overtime when required.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
