Location:

Salary: £30,000 £ 35,000, depending on experience
Working pattern:
Hybrid minimum three days per week in person
Travel:
Occasional travel to Central London

Full UK driving licence and access to a car

We are recruiting a Business Coordinator & Junior PA to work closely with a dynamic entrepreneur and Managing Director of a growing consultancy. This is a varied and influential role combining business coordination, operational support, reporting, systems administration and personal assistance.

You will act as the Managing Director s eyes and ears across the business, helping to connect sales, marketing, project delivery and operations. You will need to be confident working with different personalities, comfortable holding people accountable and able to turn conversations into clear actions and results.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious coordinator or junior PA who wants greater responsibility and exposure to how a growing business operates.

The role

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as a central point of coordination between the Managing Director and teams across sales, marketing, operations and project delivery
  • Monitoring priorities, actions and deadlines, following up with colleagues to ensure commitments are completed
  • Identifying and escalating potential risks, delays and operational issues
  • Supporting internal meetings, planning cycles and business reviews
  • Maintaining budgets, financial trackers and management spreadsheets
  • Producing reports covering sales pipelines, project progress, utilisation and other key business measures
  • Helping to establish clear processes, responsibilities and reporting routines
  • Supporting recruitment administration and wider business projects
  • Managing the company s social budget and organising regular team events
  • Managing the Managing Director s diary, meetings and appointments
  • Arranging travel, accommodation and other logistics
  • Providing occasional personal and household administration support
  • Travelling to Central London when required
About you

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Driven, confident and proactive, with a strong personality and a positive approach
  • A natural organiser who takes ownership and follows tasks through to completion
  • Comfortable working directly with an entrepreneurial Managing Director in a busy, fast-changing environment
  • Confident dealing with people at all levels and able to be firm while remaining professional and respectful
  • Numerically capable and comfortable working with budgets, trackers and business data
  • Technically confident and able to learn CRM, project-management and reporting systems quickly
  • Process-driven, with the confidence to introduce improvements and encourage others to follow agreed ways of working
  • Analytical, commercially aware and able to identify potential problems
  • A clear and professional written and verbal communicator
  • Discreet and trustworthy when handling confidential business and personal information
  • Flexible and willing to support across a broad range of business activities
Experience required
  • At least one year s experience in a PA, team coordination, business support, project coordination or similar role
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience coordinating people, projects, deadlines or processes
  • Confidence using CRM systems or other business technology
  • Experience managing budgets, trackers or numerical information
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a car
  • The ability to work from Gerrards Cross for a minimum of three days per week and travel to Central London when required

Previous experience in a small, growing or entrepreneurial business would be particularly valuable.
