FP&A Analyst

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys turning financial data into insight, building strong relationships with non-finance colleagues, and helping a business make better, faster decisions.

You’ll work closely with our Head of Financial Planning & Analysis, supporting business partnering across both our commercial and charitable activities. The role will involve budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, performance reporting and KPI tracking — as well as contributing to the implementation of a new FP&A planning software solution.

This is a new role, so there’s real scope to shape how we work: improving reporting, strengthening planning processes, and helping us make better use of data across the organisation.

• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and management reporting
• Providing variance analysis and insight to support decision-making
• Taking ownership of P&L reporting for specific business areas
• Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation
• Tracking financial performance against budgets, forecasts and KPIs
• Supporting the implementation of FP&A planning software
• Identifying opportunities to improve, streamline and automate finance processes

We’re looking for someone with a finance background, strong analytical skills and the confidence to work with both numbers and people.

• Experience of P&L and variance analysis
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivots, lookups and modelling
• The ability to explain financial information clearly to non-finance colleagues
• Curiosity around systems, automation and continuous improvement

Relevant professional qualifications are welcome, but not essential.
