As a Branch Ambassador, you ll have the opportunity to use your love of working with people and sharing product knowledge to play a vital role in our customers  banking experience.

You ll also perform a wide variety of transactions including check cashing, deposits, transfers and withdrawals while monitoring fraud mitigation and adhering to established operational policies and procedures. Equally important is the ability to resolve customer inquiries quickly and efficiently, delivering an extraordinary customer experience. Our rapidly changing tech and financial environment requires Ambassadors who are adaptable and have a growth mindset, in addition to being customer experience-obsessed.

• Assist customers with a friendly and engaging demeanor, connecting with customers whether helping with technology challenges, engaging in casual conversations, or showcasing available services and products.
• Help determine personal and business financial needs and refer to experts to guide customers toward their financial goals.
• Maintain compliance by following audit and security policies and procedures in accordance with Bank policy and Federal regulations.
• Support customers in all areas of the branch, including cash handling and service needs, and rotate throughout the branch based on customer needs.
• Contribute to an improved retail customer experience by minimizing handoffs and positioning Ambassadors as the in-branch experts.
• Learn about Capital One products, services, and experiences to guide customers toward appropriate solutions.
• Educate customers on digital banking channels and how to navigate the mobile and online experience, using branch laptops and iPads.
• Collaborate with a team of banking professionals and inspire teammates as part of an energized team.
• Research and answer customer inquiries with the goal of enhancing retention and engagement, recommending suitable solutions via available tools and channels.
• Be willing and able to travel between branches within the assigned local area to support the market.

Basic Qualifications
:
High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent Certification;
At least 1 year of Retail, Sales or Customer Service experience;
At least 6 months of cash handling experience.

Preferred Qualifications
:
Associate s degree; 2+ years of Retail, Sales, or Banking Experience.

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

Chalmette, LA: $43,680 - $43,680 for Branch Ambassador

New Orleans, LA: $43,680 - $43,680 for Branch Ambassador

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered will be reflected in the offer letter.
