Responsibilities:

• Operate cash register, receive payments and record sales.
• Sort, hang, price and transfer at least 125 garments per hour with 80% quality.
• Restock floor racks, remove empty hangers, rotate merchandise per store management.
• Maintain clean workstation, vacuum, mop, dust; keep aisles free of debris.
• Assist customers, issue receipts, greet donors, assist with general information.
• Assist security, report suspicious activity or theft.
• Follow company policies and safety procedures; attend as scheduled.

Skills and Abilities:

• Interact cordially and productively with a variety of people.
• Market Goodwill and explain the mission to the public.
• Maintain effective working relationships and motivate staff.
• Read, write and communicate clearly in English.
• Work flexible schedule on short notice, days, nights, weekends.
• Lift and carry up to 25 lbs frequently and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Use repetitive hand movements and prolonged standing, walking, bending, stooping, stretching.
• Vision corrected within normal limits.
• Function in a hectic work environment.
• Knowledge of men, women, and children clothing; furniture and household items.

Requirements: High school diploma or GED preferred; prior service industry experience preferred. Must complete Retail training.

Working Conditions: Considerable physical exertion, exposure to donated goods and materials. Alternate work schedule may include working at an attended donation station with no prior notice.
