Full‑Time IPSC Technician – New Orleans, LA
We’re looking for an IPSC Technician to join our safety‑conscious team. The IPSC Technician works under the direction of a supervisor in a plant environment and provides a variety of services—including inspection, testing, cleaning, maintenance, and repair— on customer‑owned or TSUS equipment. The role requires regular customer interaction.

Responsibilities- Learn to inspect, test, and maintain safety equipment per manufacturer requirements and document service per TSUS/customer policies.
- Assist others in the facility, including stocking shelves with clean, tested equipment, and staging, loading and delivering customer orders.
- Maintain work area and other areas in a clean and orderly condition.
- Issue, receive, track, and inspect equipment using company/customer‑provided software.
- Communicate effectively with others and build rapport quickly with customers.
- Work safely and adhere to all TSUS & customer policies and procedures.
- At least six months of field experience in fire protection, petrochemical, oil refinery or related industry.
- Associate degree, technical or military training strongly preferred.
- Valid driver’s license from state of residence, proof of vehicle insurance, a clean driving record, and insurability for Total Safety vehicle insurance while driving a company truck.
- Forklift experience preferred; must pass internal forklift certification.
- Must obtain at least one manufacturer’s certification within six months of employment.
- Proficiency in the care and use of all site‑specific, facility and customer‑required PPE. May require Respiratory Protection training and fit‑tested certification.
Plant environment; may be exposed to wet, humid, outside weather conditions and vibration. Works in customer environments; potential exposure to high‑pressure chemicals and plant traffic. Noise level is usually moderate.
Educational RequirementsHigh School Diploma or equivalent.
