Role Overview

The Senior Infrastructure Manager is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of our IT infrastructure. This includes managing network systems, servers, cloud platforms, and data centers to ensure high availability, security, and scalability. The role requires strategic leadership, technical expertise, and cross‑functional collaboration to support business continuity and growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead infrastructure operations across network, server, storage, and cloud environments.
  • Manage system performance, availability, and reliability through proactive monitoring and optimization.
  • Oversee infrastructure projects including upgrades, migrations, and new deployments.
  • Implement and maintain cybersecurity protocols, disaster recovery plans, and compliance standards.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers for hardware/software procurement and support.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure architecture, processes, and policies.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to infrastructure and support teams.
  • Collaborate with IT leadership to align infrastructure strategy with business goals.
  • Participate in the hiring process, develop and execute training plans for a high‑performing Service Desk team.
  • Coaching and mentoring staff to achieve team goals.
  • Hands‑on technical leadership across the Service Desk, ensuring exceptional service and timely ticket resolution.
  • Lead or assist in IT projects or initiatives as needed.
  • Maintain and improve the knowledge base.
  • Ensure departmental policies and procedures are followed.
  • Maintain cooperative working relationships with employees and vendors.
  • Ensure a safe and healthy workplace.
Qualifications Education & Certification Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
  • 5–7 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, including cloud and on‑prem environments.
  • Strong knowledge of networking, virtualization (VMware/Hyper‑V), and server technologies.
  • Experience with ITSM tools (e.g., Service Now), monitoring platforms, and automation frameworks.
  • Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and project management skills.
The Extras We Value
  • Certifications such as ITIL, PMP, CCNA/CCNP.
  • Experience with Azure, AWS, and hybrid cloud architectures.
  • Deep knowledge and experience with endpoint security, MDM platforms (e.g., Intune), and VPN deployments.
  • Implementing and managing MDM platforms for secure mobile access.
  • Knowledge and experience in setting and managing large‑scale networks and infrastructure.
  • Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage vendor relationships.
  • Strong communication and people skills.
  • Process improvement skills to achieve operational efficiencies.
  • Excellent documentation skills.
  • Strong supervisory and management skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate individuals and teams to achieve program and project objectives.
  • Effective staff management and budget tracking.
What We Offer Salary Range & Benefits

The yearly compensation for this role ranges from $135,000 to $180,000, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications. You may also be eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program.
