The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) under the supervision of a doctor and/or nurse practitioner, and in collaboration with other healthcare professionals, coordinates target population access to healthcare, health education and preventive services. This position would be supporting a Pediatrics clinic located in Chamblee, GA. The hours are 8:00 am
-5:00 pm. No weekends or holidays.
- Performs basic patient assessment procedures such as vitals signs, infectious disease control, and universal precautions.
- Maintains and orders medical supplies and materials.
- Performs EKGs with the guidance of a medical provider.
- Provides light administrative duties such as typing, filing, answering phones, etc.
- Participates in health fairs and community events.
- Current Georgia or compact License Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
- BCLS
- Bilingual is a plus.
